Building permit submissions are processed in the following manner. If your permit is not listed under the Permit Portal or Intake Appointment icons, please scroll down to locate your specific building permit. Inspections: All inspection requests are accessed via the online Permit Portal. Requests via phone are no longer available. The Permit Portal allows those with active permits to schedule an inspection.
Intake Appointment Requests are responded to in the order they are received. Please allow at least 5 business days for a date and time confirmation for your appointment.
Your project must have issued permits on-site, require workers to be six-feet apart, and have a developed exposure control, mitigation, and recovery plan. Washington State Department of Labor & Industries will enforce requirements for contractors to comply with comprehensive COVID-19 exposure control, mitigation, recovery plans and safety practices.

It is important to provide all required documentation with the permit application. Please refer to the related applicable checklist. The required fee(s) are due at the time the permit application is submitted. If you have specific questions or suggestions, please call or email. The Permit Contact Information Form is required with all permits. When signing permit applications, you certify that you are the owner of record of the named property, or that the proposed work is authorized by the owner of record, and that you have been authorized by the owner to make this application as his/her authorized agent.
