Forest Crest Playfield Complex

5006 236th Street SW

Forest Crest Playfield is a five-acre youth sport field complex next to the Forest Crest Tennis Club.  It includes two small baseball fields and a T-ball field, which converts to a youth soccer field in the fall.

In the spring, summer and fall, Forest Crest Playfield is a busy complex primarily used by the Mountlake Terrace Youth Athletic Association (MTYAA) for their youth leagues.

This lovely park, surrounded by stately Evergreen trees, includes a playground, walking trails, natural area, water fountain, portable concession stand, portable restrooms and onsite parking.

History

The building to the west was previously Forest Crest Elementary School and the fields were school district property. For many years Edmonds School District and the city partnered on maintaining the fields until the 1980s when they were declared surplus by the school district and sold to the city.
