Paine Field in Everett offers commercial air service only 10 miles north of Mountlake Terrace. SeaTac International Airport is located 27 miles south of the city.
Bus service is provided by Community Transit , King County Metro Transit and Sound Transit. Light rail service will begin in 2024 from the Mountlake Terrace Station. The Amtrak/Sounder Train Station is located in Edmonds, about five miles from Mountlake Terrace.
