The Street Division maintains traffic related fixtures including 15 signalized intersections, along with pavement markings, signs, barricades, and street striping on 62 miles of surface streets. Division personnel also maintain approximately 325 streetlights. If a streetlight is located on a metal or concrete pole, the City maintains the light. If the light is on a wood pole, it is maintained by Snohomish County PUD.
Report Street Light Problem
Unless a customer calls us, we have no way of knowing that a street light is out or not working properly. If you notice a street light that is not acting normally, please contact our Public Works Department at 425-670-8264. Please tell us the nearest address to the street light. Note that street lights are fixed as soon as possible, depending upon when crews are in the area and workload.
If you would like a new street light in your neighborhood, please contact Traffic Engineer Marc Seferian at 425-744-6265 or email at email@example.com.
